This poster was created by a Sanford High School student as part of the Above the Influence campaign organized by Drug Free Communities, a community-wide initiative of youth, parents, business leaders, schools, police officers, and others working together to decrease alcohol and drug use among Greater Sanford’s youth and adults.
Sanford Strong Coalition and Allied Public Health have merged
The coalition, formerly known as the Sanford Strong Coalition, is now merged with the Allied Public Health group. This is a partnership of residents, organizations, businesses and others invested in the future of Greater Sanford. The Allied Public Health group provides ways for the community to share information and access resources, while supporting initiatives to strengthen the health, well-being, and success of Sanford’s children, youth and their families. Membership is free and open to anyone concerned about the future of Greater Sanford and its people. Join today.

All visitors must ring the outside bell and sign in at the Main Desk.
The Drug Free Communities (DFC) initiative is a community-wide effort of youth, parents, business leaders, schools, police officers, faith communities, health care providers, and others to decrease alcohol, marijuana and prescription drug use among Greater Sanford’s youth and adults.

The Sanford Strong Coalition has officially merged
with the Allied Public Health group!
We will continue to meet monthly at Southern Maine Health Care, Sanford Campus in the conference room on the first floor, the last Monday of the month from 12-2.
You are welcome to bring your lunch or to purchase lunch in the hospital cafeteria!
There are no meetings in May, July, or August!
